 Reflect
The Psalm (Psalm 70) at today's Mass says this:
'My lips will tell of your help.'
It goes on to say,
'My lips will tell of your justice, and day by day of your help. O God, you have taught me from my youth and I proclaim your wonders still.'
Quite a few of the Psalms are about thanking God for what he has done for us, and helping ourselves to recognise where he has worked in our lives. This is a brilliant thing to focus on during Holy Week.
If we believe that God has done some amazing things for us, then this should affect our lives and provoke a response. That doesn't mean that we have to push our faith in people's faces or take to the streets with billboards and flyers, but it should make some difference.
So how can we tell of God's help?
By the way we live?
By the kindness we show to others?
By the choices we make?
By taking the chance - when appropriate - to tell people that we believe in something.
 Pray
Loving Father,
In this week where we remember your amazing love for us, help us to be people of gratitude and kindness.
Help our gratitude to change us for the better and help us to be people who show the world through everything that we do, that you are alive and at work.
Amen.
 Challenge
Your challenge today is to tell somebody about Holy Week.
It may be that you don't get a natural chance to do this. If you don't, then don't feel you have to force it!
But if you can...
