Footsteps through Lent...

[Saturday after Ash Wednesday | Feb 20th]

Reflect

Here is part of the Gospel from today's Mass:

'Jesus noticed a tax collecter, levi by name, sitting by the customs house, and he said to him, 'Follow me.' And leaving everything he got up and followed him.' (Luke 5:27-28)

Have you ever wondered why Jesus was able to get people to follow him so easily? He must have had something about him that made people want to be with him and made people really believe in what he had to say.

All of us hear calls from God to do certain things. We are all called to follow God each day: by the things we do and say, by being faithful, by taking time to pray. We are called to follow God, just as Levi was, in loads of different ways.

Pray

Loving Father,

How are you calling me today? Where are you leading me? and what do you want me to do?

Help me to hear your voice clearly, and when I do help me to respon with generosity and love.

Amen.

Challenge

Today's challenge is a bit tricky. Maybe you can't think of anything that fits. If so, don't worry. Anyway...

Is that anything in your live that you know you should be doing that you have been putting off?

If there is, then that's today's challenge. Go do it!
